ज़माने के जैसा दीखता नहीं,
जो हूँ वो मैं कहता नहीं।
अज्ञानी था अज्ञानी हु,
के अल्फाज मैं कोई पढता नहीं।
काला ना पड़ जाये बदन,
श्रम की तपन मैं सहता नहीं।
गंदा दिखे जीवन का नीर,
के नदी सा मैं बहता नहीं।
मंजिल की उम्मीद कैसे करू,
मैं लगातार चलता नहीं।
सपने मेरे सच हो कैसे,
साकार मैं उन्हें कभी करता नहीं।
भविष्य को रंगीन करू कैसे,
वर्तमान में रंग भरता नहीं।
