दशहरा क्यों मनाते है?
मर्यादा पुरुषोत्तम श्री रामचंद्र जी ने रावण का वध कर सीता माता को आजाद करवाया था मगर ये पूरी कहानी नहीं है।
कहा जाता है की श्री रामचंद्र भ्राता लक्ष्मण और पत्नी सीता माता के साथ 14 वर्षो का वनवास काटने गये थे, इसी दोहरान माता सीता का रावण के द्वारा अपहरण हो गया, माता सीता को रावण की कैद से छुड़ाने के लिए श्री रामचंद्र जी ने काफी प्रयास किया बहुत से युद्ध हुए और इन युद्धों में बहुत से लोगों ने श्री रामचद्र जी का साथ दिया फिर भी रावण पर विजय नहीं पा सके, जब जब रावण पर प्रहार किया रावण ने शक्ति का उतना ही ज्यादा प्रदर्शन किया, इसी दोहरान रावण को दस सर के साथ देखा गया, जब जब रावण का सर कटा उतनी ही बार एक नया सर उत्पन्न हुआ, क्यों की रावण बहुत विद्वान और शक्तिशाली था, श्री रामचंद्र जी का साथ देने के लिए रावण का भ्राता विभीषण जिसने सत्य का साथ देने की प्रतिज्ञा ली। और तब विभीषण ने रामचंद्र जी को बताया की रावण के शक्तिशाली होने का राज क्या है, तब विभीषण माता शक्ति की उपासना करने की सलाह देते हैं रामचंद्र जी को।
Why is Dussehra celebrated?
Maryada Purushottam Shri Ramchandra ji had freed Sita Mata by killing Ravana but this is not the whole story.
It is said that Shri Ramchandra had gone to exile for 14 years with brother Lakshman and wife Sita Mata, due to this, Mother Sita was kidnapped by Ravana, Shri Ramchandra ji made a lot of efforts to free Mother Sita from the captivity of Ravana. Many wars took place and many people supported Shri Ramchandra ji in these wars, yet could not win over Ravana, when Ravana attacked Ravana, Ravana displayed as much power, this repetition gave ten heads to Ravana. It was seen with, when Ravana’s head was cut off as many times as a new head was born, because Ravana was very learned and powerful, Ravana’s brother Vibhishana, who took a vow to support the truth, to support Shri Ramchandra ji. And then Vibhishana told Ramchandra ji what is the secret of Ravana being powerful, then Vibhishana advises Ramchandra ji to worship Mother Shakti.
श्री रामचंद्र ने शुरू की माता शक्ति की उपासना।
माता शक्ति की श्री रामचंद्र जी ने आराधना शुरू की मगर उस तपस्या में कई विघन आये जिसे श्री रामचंद्र जी ने बड़ी सूझ बुझ से हल किये कहा जाता है की माता शक्ति को कमल का फूल अत्यंत प्रिय है तो श्री रामचद्र जी ने कमान उठाया और बान चलाया मगर वो १०७ ही कमल के फूल लेके आ पाये क्योकि पृथ्वी पर उस वक़्त १०७ ही फूल थे और माता शक्ति को १०८ फूलो की आहूति देनी थी, तब श्री रामचंद्र जी ने सोचा की नयन को भी कमल कहा जाता है, तो उन्होंने अपने नेत्र की आहूति देने की सोची और श्री रामचंद्र जी ने आसमान में बान चलाया जो आसमान में जजा के वापिस लोटा तो रामचंद्र जी अपने नेत्र खोल के खड़े हो गए, जैसे ही बाण उनके नेत्र तक पंहुचा उसमें से माँ शक्ति प्रकट हुई और श्री रामचंद्र जी की तपस्या से प्रभावित हो के रामचंद्र जी को विजयी भवः का वर दिया जिस माता की आराधना को हम नवरात्रि के नाम से जानते हैं।

Shri Ramchandra ji started worshiping Mata Shakti, but many obstacles came in that penance, which Shri Ramchandra ji solved with great understanding, it is said that the lotus flower is very dear to Mata Shakti, so Shri Ramchandra ji took up the command and banished. But he could bring only 107 lotus flowers because there were only 107 flowers on earth at that time and Mother Shakti had to sacrifice 108 flowers, then Shri Ramchandra ji thought that Nayan is also called lotus, so he opened his eyes. And when Shri Ramchandra ji shot a bow in the sky, when Jaja returned to the sky, Ramchandra ji stood with his eyes open, as soon as the arrow reached his eye, Mother Shakti appeared from it and Shri Ramchandra ji’s Impressed by the penance, he gave the boon of victory to Ramchandra ji, whose worship we know as Navratri.
रावण का संहार।
रामचंद्र जी ने माता की ९ दिन की उपासना करने के पश्चात रावण से युद्ध किया और विजयी हुए और इस तरह बुराई पर अच्छाई की जीत हुई, उस दिन दशमी तिथि थी, जिसे हम दशहरा और विजयदश्मी के नाम से जानते हैं।
Killing of Ravana.
Ramchandra ji fought with Ravana after worshiping Mother for 9 days and became victorious and thus victory of good over evil, that day was Dashami Tithi, which we know as Dussehra and Vijayadashami.
